for download purposes by your own self ,Since YouTube keep changing download links and sometimes watching links too .
But don't worry it's an easy task to do it yourself .
The following methods are the best techniques that I observed for this purpose :
1. Using Youtube download link extracting websites :
Many websites offer you the chance to extract the flv or whatever formated embedded video download link. The only thing you have to do is to copy/paste the video watch link ...and Horray ! you get the direct download link in a second .Keepvid is one of the best sites that offer this service. You may google for other sites using this keywords :"Download Youtube"
2.Using free grabbing software .Orbit Downloader is the best available freeware for this purpose
and generally for download management tasks .
Run the grabber tool as illustrated below :
Don't forget you should run the grab++ tool before you open
the media page ...so you may simply refresh the page and play the media first,so
Orbit Grabber start sniffing process.

Publisher's description of FLV Player :
From Martijn de Visser:FLV Player is a free standalone application to play Flash FLV files with. This utility can come in handy when viewing many FLV files, as it doesn't require the Flash IDE. The installer comes with optional FLV association, so double clicking an FLV file opens and plays the file in the player.
Version 2.0.23 adds 'loop' button and improves support for RTMP streams.
Editor's review of FLV Player
Most people don't need anything more than a Web browser and a Macromedia plug-in to watch Flash videos. However, if you want a bit more control over your viewing, this open-source freeware program will do the trick. FLV Player's exceedingly simple controls allow you to navigate backward and forward through videos and play them in a loop. And that's about it.
Our only major complaint is that the display window doesn't automatically resize to the size of your movie frame. We hope this problem will be remedied in future versions. FLV Player isn't a must-have by any stretch, but it's a decent tool for penny-pinching Flash developers.
2.VLC Media Player 0.8.6d
License:Free

VLC (initially VideoLAN Client) is a highly portable multimedia player for various audio and video formats, including MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MPEG-4, DivX, MP3, and OGG, as well as for DVDs, VCDs, and various streaming protocols. It also can be used as a server for unicast or multicast streams in IPv4 or IPv6 on a high-bandwidth network.
The most prominent additions to version 0.8.6 are probably Windows Media Video 9 and Flash Video. Other important changes are improved H.264 decoding, better Windows Unicode support, and a full-screen. Version 0.8.6d is a bug fixing release.
Editor's review of VLC Media Player
When it comes to video files, nothing is ever as easy as it should be. Thankfully, VLC Media Player offers a one-stop solution for the file-format problem. The program supports playback of OGG, MP2, MP3, MP4, DivX, DVD, and a whole slew of other file types. In addition, it also can function as a streaming media server. Because of its open-source foundation, VLC Media Player evolves quickly, with new features and fixes released frequently.
Though the interface varies from platform to platform, the sparseness of the Windows version leaves plenty to be desired. The skinned mode perks things up slightly, but the program seems to suffer from unpredictable behavior when skinned. Also, the basic task of opening a file is far more confusing than it should be; the program gives you several options, including the head-scratching Quick Open File. Overall, though, VLC Media Player is a must-have application for its ability to open just about any type of video file you throw at it.
